This is a tub of sand shrimp – salmon-fishing bait. Isn’t it beautiful? So bright and colorful. Don’t be fooled by beauty, though. These little rascals will get ahold of your cuticle and PINCH. Can’t really blame them. If someone tried sticking a fish hook through me, I’d pinch too.

It’s funny that salmon bite on sand shrimp. As fishing guide Jim Sehl points out – they’ve never seen one before.
