Color in photographs can really affect the mood of a piece.

Over the next few days, we’ll take a look at the use of color and how it affects the way we feel.

I liked how the sunlight was rimming this moss-drenched tree branch a few weeks ago. In the background is the Santiam River, but that’s not really obvious in this shot.

I changed the color balance in post-processing, which gave the photo a whole different feel.
