A tree out standing in its field.

I’ve taken several pictures of this tree over the years. When it’s not a foggy day, as it was a few weeks ago when I took this shot, there’s a nice backdrop of Peterson’s Butte in the background.

I think the shot gains something with the fence post in the foreground. It gives some perspective and a point with which to draw the eye around the frame.

  2. Great photo. Interesting to hear that you sort of fell into photojournalism. A few months ago a friend of mine had an article written about her association and the journalist also took some photos. He didn’t manage to get the idea of the message she wanted to the public to see in the image. From looking through your blog I believe you do understand. Thank you for sharing and all the best for your future work.
