This was taken on the first frost of the season, which was a month or so ago.

This is a wild plant called a teasel. Very pokey and I think fun to look at.

  3. Lilly, did you read the Clan of the Cave Bear series by Oregon author Jean Auel? The main character, Ayla uses teasels to brush her hair and her horses’s mane.
