Now let’s take a look at green.

I took this shot at the Oregon State Fair this past summer.

It was the little girl with the painted face on the cartoon dragon that I wanted to capture. I got lucky with the little boy smiling inside the car in the background.

I am in love with this photo – it shouts sheer childish joy to me. Not to mention childhood fantasy and imagination.

But is it the color that makes the shot so happy and bright? Or is it the lighting? Maybe it’s simply the subject matter?

Please, you tell me.

  1. I just turned on the snow. But I’m feeling sorry for this poor little girl now out in the snow in her shorts. Ha!

  2. Color is fantastic and I also love the sharpness in the little girl’s face!
