And here’s the same tree as in my last post, but in warmer shades.

It’s interesting to note the difference. Not only in appearance, but in the feelings it evokes when looking at different colors in photographs and other works of art.

Which do you like better? Do you have a preference?

I favor this one.

  1. I like both, but the warm one definitely elicits more feelings of peace, even nostalgia; whereas, the colder one is a bit more eery, yet . . . mmm, still comforting. Confused? 🙂

    • I understand what you mean, Lilly. It’s why I saved, and posted, the two different colored shots. I like them both. The warmer tones is more comforting. The cooler colors seems colder and yes, a little eery to me.

  2. I like the warmer tones better :)!

  3. Hmmm. They’re both intriguing shots. My mood tonight leans me more toward the warmer colors. I do like the other one as well, so it would possibly be my fave on a different day…

    • Love it, Cindy. A fellow woman of many moods!

      • When flipping back and forth between the two shots, you know what I also notice? The cool colored photo feels not only colder, but more contained. The warmer shades seems to be more opening, as if it has more visual space to explore or relax within. Interesting.
