I pulled my truck off onto a little country gravel road one morning last week to get this shot.

The sun was breaking through freezing fog, beaming down through trees where horses grazed.

If only (isn’t there almost always an “if only?”)… If only one of the horses had moved into the center of the meadow and lifted its head before this amazing light went away.

  1. Beautiful composition.

  2. Beautiful as it was taken – but I can see a horse in the middle, head raised, gazing off as horses do… You have the eye for such beautiful art, Danita!

    • Thanks Glenda! How fun is it to have you as a friend?

I got another shot of the light through frozen fog that I really like. It reminds me of a Thomas Kincaid painting. I’m going to keep it to myself for now and enter it in some competitions.
