So, I’d pulled off the road to capture shots of sunlight breaking through the freezing fog and beaming down on grazing horses (please see my last post). And on the other side of the road, this horse heard my pickup and meandered over.

I say the horse heard and not saw my pickup because I got the feeling from the way it moved toward sound, and the look of its eyes, that it may be blind or close to it.

The horse did perk up his ears at the sound of my voice and seemed a sweet old thing.

I couldn’t resist firing off a few frames.
