The bokeh (faded background and in this case, sparkly lights) in this shot was caused by morning sunlight glinting off frost.

I took this shot a couple months ago on the morning after the first frost of the season in the Mid-Willamette Valley in Western Oregon. It was taken about a quarter mile from my house.

I set this photo aside to save for the holiday season. I think it has a Christmas feel to it.
