Here’s a Queen Anne’s lace seed head edged with frost.

I posted a frozen Queen Anne’s lace (click here) in an earlier post. That shot was taken after the first frost. This one was taken recently, after several hard frosts.

The plants – considered weeds by some, wildflowers by others – are now standing dead, but I think still beautiful when edged with tiny ice crystals.
