I captured this scene at my husband’s union hall when they held a Christmas party for the members’ children earlier this month.

That’s our middle son on Santa’s lap. He’s telling Santa all his Lego wishes.

My favorite part of this particular photo is the expression on the face of Santa’s helper. She was looking over at Santa’s other helper – also a pretty blonde teenager. I had to wonder if her look was conveying something like, “This is so lame. I can’t wait to get out of this costume.”

But I could be totally wrong about that. The two young women did a great job writing down the children’s’ wishes in their tablets. And they both looked adorable.
