This is Finn. Isn’t he sweet?

Finn was watching while his owner and his owner’s other dog, a black German shepherd, took a sheep-herding lesson from Ian Waldicott at Wolston Farms east of Scio, Oregon.

Finn now lives in Corbett, Oregon, but he was bred at Wolston Farms. For more information on the farm and what they offer click here.

I was at the farm in January on a magazine assignment. The story I wrote had little to do with sheep herding, but Finn was such a cute, happy-looking dog that I took several photos of him. This one is my favorite, with Finn’s big smile and the red building in the background.
