And here’s the same shot as posted earlier today, but switched to black and white.

Which do you like better – color or monochrome?

I like both, but am leaning a little more towards the color on this one. The green and the blues are nice.

On the other hand, the black and white treatment seems to bring out the shapes of the leaves and the wiggly reflections, which are both nice. I especially like how the waves of the water makes the reflection break up at the tips of the leaves. It makes a cool pattern in the water.

  1. I like both. The black and white brings out the geometry and adds moodiness to the shot.

  2. It’s a toss up for me. I think maybe the black and white, there is a hint of green in those grey tones, maybe left over from looking at the previous very green post, or perhaps the colour balance is tweaked in that direction?
