It is 60 degrees and sunny in my part of Oregon today. After record rainfall this spring, today’s weather is cause for celebration!!

I started the celebration with a walk around Cheadle Lake. With a camera, of course.

The tender shoots of spring are sprouting and green. Wildflowers are popping into color. Newly hatched Canada geese were swimming in the middle of the lake with their parents.

These iris have yet to bloom, but I think they are already beautiful with their sword-shaped foliage and wiggly-lined reflection.
