This was the beach at Neskowin, Oregon early last Saturday morning.

A nice haze of mist, few people and lots of washed ashore treasures to discover. I found a whole sand dollar, some clam fossils, a chunk of smoothed beach glass and a couple of nice shells.

When composing this shot, I leaned into the sand dune to add some foreground interest and give the shot some perspective.

I put this photo through a color filter to get the bluer-than-normal tint.

  2. The ocean is my most favorite place for healing and regenerating the human batteries. I love the oregon coast we go as much as possible. Stunning photos. Thank you for sharing 🙂

  3. Thanks Melody and of course you’re welcome! The ocean is very soothing.
