This photo isn’t tack sharp – I took it at dusk and had to use a fairly slow shutter speed. I’m sharing it here as an example of an interesting way to use framing in photography.

I liked the way the hay feeder framed Sugar’s face as she reached out to say hello. And a little soft and blurry and all, Sugar is a miniature horse and, well, she’s darned cute.

In posts coming up, I’ll post a few more examples of ways you can use framing in your photos.
