Is today your special day? If so, then a big Happy Birthday to You!!!

We’re talking about capturing humor in photography. This shot isn’t in as sharp of focus as I’d like. But between the ewe’s expression, her bad-hair day, the bird on her back and the composition of the three subjects sort of stacked on top of each other, it makes me giggle every time I look at this photo.

I took this shot last week out of the window of my pickup along a back country road near Tangent. Oregon. I had two kids bouncing in their boosters in the backseat. It’s challenging to use a long lens without a stabilizer when there are two kids bouncing in the back…
