As promised earlier today, here’s a vertical shot of the barn in a field of camas.

Besides this being an example of using “something near, something far.” This shot and today’s earlier post (click here to compare) proves that it’s a good idea to take at least two shots of the same scene.

Take some horizontal shots, then turn your camera and take some vertical shots, too. It will give the same subject a whole different look.
