Pardon the sporadic posting. But wow, summer is so busy when the kids are out of school. The last two weeks were swimming lessons. This week is vacation Bible school and I’m still trying to work through it all.

I took this photo on the way home from a magazine assignment a few months ago. It was taken in Harlan, Oregon. It was a rainy day, but the down pours had slowed to a mist long enough for me to get out of my truck and take a few shots of this pretty, calming scene.

Always, always carry your camera with you. You never know when a photo opportunity will present itself. And if you don’t have your camera, you can be sure that’s when the best photo ops WILL present themselves!
