These aren’t raisins. I guess that makes them freeze-dried grapes.

We’ve still got a snow covering in the Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Night before last the thermometer dipped to -9. That’s the coldest it’s been here since 1972. Schools canceled classes, many businesses didn’t open. The roads are still sheets of slick ice.

My husband has still made his way slowly to work each morning before dawn, but since he’s driving our only snow-worthy rig, our sons and I are pretty much snow bound.

So, to pass some time, I took photos of snow-frosted grapes.
