And Still My Leaf Gently Weeps

This photo feels sorrowful to me. Or at least pitiful. Poor frozen leaf.

One of the most wondrous things about art of all sorts is the emotion it can evoke. I majored in art. One of the biggest concepts (and I think one of the hardest for the professors to teach) was how art is emotion. The emotion of the artist at the time of making the piece, and the emotion of the viewer when taking it in.
