Oregon Rain Forest Moss

It rains in Oregon.

A lot.

Sometimes it gets old. But, when I’m feeling weary of the rain, I remind myself that the myriad hues of green in the Mid-Willamette Valley would not be possible without all that rainfall.

On the way to the coast a couple of weeks ago with my family we stopped at a rest stop. It had just stopped raining, so the tree moss still dripped.

I think this is a good detail shot representing an Oregon rain forest.
